The Twin City Cribbage Club meets in Winston-Salem, NC every Tuesday night at the Polo Park Recreation Center on Polo Road (beside Speas Elementary School). click Map. We meet between 5:45PM-6:00PM and begin play at 6:15PM. We play nine games in a tournament-style format (but don't let the word "tournament" scare you, it's just the format we use). For more information on the tournament format we use, click Format (at left). Players wanting to join us for our weekly event should be able to play an 18-20 minute game, however, beginners, or those wanting to learn cribbage for the first time, should call the director at the number, listed below under Contacts for arrangements.
The next Cribbage For Beginners class, held in conjunction with Forsyth Tech Community College's Adult Continuing Education program, will be held at the Miller Park Recreation center on Miller Street near Thruway Shopping Center. The 3-part, six hour class will be held on three consecutive Thursdays for 2-hour sessions from 6:00-8:00 pm on September 15, 22, & 29. The class fee is $35. Students who attend all three classes will receive a study guide (Play Winning Cribbage) a deck of cards and a "29" cribbage board. You must register with Forsyth Tech to take the class.
